Pikaso was launched on December 11, 2023, by Freepik​​. 

Freepik also announced that it had raised a $100 million funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. The funding will be used to accelerate the development of Pikaso and other AI-powered products.

Pikaso Limitation

• Image quality: The quality of the images generated by Pikaso can vary depending on the complexity of the sketch or photo being used. For simple sketches, Pikaso can produce very realistic images. However, for more complex sketches, the images may be less accurate or may have some artifacts.

• Style: Pikaso is still under development, and it is not always able to accurately reproduce the desired style. For example, if you are trying to create a realistic image of a person, Pikaso may produce an image that is more cartoonish or stylized.

• Creativity: Ultimately, Pikaso is a tool that can be used to help you create images. However, it is up to you to come up with ideas and inspiration. Pikaso cannot generate images out of thin air.
